8月5日大阪・天王寺高校の生徒が柏キャンパスを見学

大阪・天王寺高校の生徒と先生方45名が柏キャンパスIOGの見学に訪れました。「ジェロントロジーとは」「日本と世界の高齢化について」、そして「IOGのこれまでの研究活動」等を鎌田教授が解りやすく説明。その後、３グループに分かれ、研究検査室と体組成計、超小型モビリティ・コムスを見て回りました。生徒たちは大変興味深そうに解説に耳を傾け、熱心にメモを取っていました。

A 45-person group of students and faculty visited the IOG Kashiwa Campus. Prof. Kamata, former director of the Institute, gave lectures titled “What is gerontology?”, “The Aging of the Population in Japan and Other Countries”, and “Past Research Activities at the IOG.” Following the lectures, visitors were divided into three groups and saw demonstrations at the research laboratory, and at “COMS, the Micro Mobility.” They were very interested in the demonstrations and comments made by our researchers and took many notes.
