| 7月10日、シンガポール首相官邸が所管する研究教育機関であるCivil Service Collegeより、研究者２名がIOGを訪問しました。シンガポールでも、深刻な少子高齢化を迎えており、医療・介護提供を含んだ町づくり、退職世代のコミュニティ参加など、日本と共通の課題を抱えていました。一方で、狭い国土の利用や多くの移民を受け入れてきた土壌があるなど、日本とは大きく異なる点もあり、大変興味深い意見交換の場となりました。 |

| On July 10th, Two researchers from the Public Service Division of the Civil Service College of Singapore visited the IOG.Singapore is experiencing serious issues relating to an aging population, issues which are compounded with a diminishing number of children. Singapore is faced with challenges similar to Japan, including town development which combines medical and home care services along with participation opportunities for elderly, retired individuals. On the other hand, Singapore has been making effective use of small national land and has been accepting immigrants in sharp contrast to Japan’s strategy. This served as an interesting opportunity to exchange opinions. |
