コース生の感想
呂 偉達(新領域創成科学研究科 修士課程2年)Orienting to “Super Aging Society Japan”, the event of “Tokyo Week” attracting MBA students form all of the world, was held at Toyoshikidai. As a student both of the University of Tokyo and GLAFS, I did have the great honor to join this time. The current situation including the medical system and the present existed problem on aging society in Japan, using Kashiwa-Toyoshikidai as the example, was introduced in detail. Out of my expectation, lots of questions were raised especially on the aspects of “family medical system”, “community medical system” and “sustainability of these systems” comparing with the condition of their own countries. The great discussion made me not only realize the great efforts Japan has done to improve the aging society problem and the aging problem in other countries but also there are still many problems in front of us. In the afternoon, groups were divided and the visit around Toyoshikidai was conducted. During the visit, I did have great communication with MBA students from different countries. What the participators concerned most during the visit in Toyoshikidai is how the seniors around here could have convenient and comfortable life. They were often surprised by such details aiming to seniors like the bench design in the bus station, the low goods shelves in the supermarket, and also the complete ancillary facility, such the clinic, fitness room, library and schools in the community. On the other hand, they also pointed out the problems in their own countries and would like to use what they have seen and learned in Japan for reference to improve the aging problems in their own countries. Through the great communication with the MBA students from all of the world, I did get more understand to both the aging situation in Japan and in other countries. The greatly warm heart and curiosity impressed me much, which also confirmed my faith to contribute myself to the aging society issue and make this whole society better. |
