ジェロントロジーネットワーク2014年第1回全体会開催

高齢社会総合研究機構の産学連携活動・ジェロントロジーネットワークはインターンシップ型共同研究の場としても期待されています。その会員が集まる全体会が６月６日、本郷福武ホールで開かれました。集まった企業は４０社近く。柏市役所保健福祉部福祉政策課の梅澤貴義氏による特別講演「柏市における長寿社会のまちづくり」の後、各共同研究チーム（ワーキンググループ）が、これまでの活動紹介と今年度の計画について発表。

出席した学生からは「参加者が多いですね。超高齢社会という問題に対して企業の関心が非常に高いことが肌でわかりました」という感想が。「こういった会で企業の人と関わりを持つことで、より具体的な研究ができると思う」というコメントも聞かれました。

The “Gerontology Network”, part of the academic-industrial activities of the IOG, is expected to serve as an internship-style collaborative research field. The first general meeting of 2014 was held on June 6^th at Fukutake hall on the Hongo campus of the University of Tokyo, and there were about 40 participant companies. After a special lecture entitled “Kashiwa City: Town Development for a Long-Lived Society” by Mr. Takayoshi Umezawa of the Kashiwa City Health and Welfare department, each collaborative research team made presentations about their past activities and their plans for this year.

Students present at the meeting said “I was surprised to see many participants. I feel that there is a growing concern about super aging societies among corporations.” Students commented that they feel more able to conduct concrete, specific research by becoming involved with company representatives at these meetings.
